how do i participate in off-season?

1. choose a prompt.
Ω the prompt archive is the same as the prompt masterlists, but only shows unclaimed prompts.
Ω prompts are separated by pairing and can be filtered by subgender, rating, dynamic, etc.
Ω you can choose a prompt from round 1 or round 2.
Ω new prompts or new self-prompts are not permitted for off-season.2. write the fic!
Ω there is no claiming process for off-season. you may write whichever prompt from the archive you want, and you do not need to notify the mods beforehand.3. post the fic to the off-season collection.
Ω to add your fic to the collection, please use the collection name: slickfest1_offseason4. post a promotional tweet. (OPTIONAL)
Ω if you make a tweet for your off-season fic, please tag us @slickfests and we will rt it!

how do i claim a prompt?
you do not need to claim a prompt for off-season! you can write anything from the prompt archive without notifying the mods beforehand.how do i see available prompts?
all of our prompt lists are done through notion and can be found here. the off-season prompt list has already been filtered to only show unclaimed prompts.when is the deadline?
while there is no official deadline, the off-season collection will close when round 3 starts. there's no official date yet so make sure to keep an eye on our twitter, but it will most likely be in late april/early may!what if i started writing a prompt that isn't there anymore?
if the prompt isn't there anymore, it means either A) the prompter requested for it to be removed or B) someone asked the mods to hold it for them for off-season during the fest. unfortunately this means you cannot write that prompt anymore!what if i want to finish writing my self-prompt?
if you submitted your self-prompt before the deadline and would like to finish writing it, that is fine. however, we do not accept new prompts, so if you did not submit it before the fic deadline, you cannot write it for off-season.i have a question that isn't answered here!
